Last Sunday the first internal Shiai (kyu level) of 2018 was held to examine everyone’s kendo and to prepare for the coming competition season with several important events like the Unigames, DHMDK Championship and the NSW State Championship.
上周日我们举行了今年第一场内部比赛，既为了检验每个人的水准，也为了即将到来的Unigames，大韩武道馆和新州赛等一系列比赛做准备。
Many members had got excited already before the Shiai, and they aimed seriously to win during the Shiai. Members joined in 2017 also participated in the Shiai to impress everyone with spectacular improvement and surprising skills, when voice of praise from audience could not stop. Some seniors might even become their fans.
赛前已经有很多选手摩拳擦掌跃跃欲试，而在比赛中他们为了胜利也打得很顽强。去年加入社团的新人也参加了比赛，他们惊人出色的表现证明了他们的进步，也为他们赢得了观众们的阵阵喝彩，甚至可能还有前辈们被圈了粉。

Whether the results were ideal from one to another, it reflected their practice in the past. After the internal Shiai, it will be important for everyone to remember their mistakes and good points to either fix or keep in future’s practice.
不管比赛结果对每个人是不是理想，它都反映了之前训练的成果。现在看来重要的是比赛结束后的反思可以让我们在之后的训练里能努力改正缺点并保持优点，从而取得进步。
