The UTS Kendo Club recently held their 3-day kendo seminar with two special guest Hanshi 8th-dan teachers – Tohru Kamei-sensei and Kazuo Furukawa-sensei, followed by their annual UTS Shield competition. A big thank you to UTS for hosting the event, and to everyone who represented USyd; special mentions to Victor Guo and Iris Somera with first and second place in the Kyu 2nd division bracket, and Harshinder Bhandari with 2nd place in the Kyu 1st division bracket – congratulations!
