Kendo Annual Party – A huge thank you to everyone!

On Saturday the 19^th of May, we had our 2018 annual cocktail party at the Aurora Hotel Rooftop. It was a fantastic night full of laughs, drinks and good conversation as we celebrated the achievements and hard work of our club’s members and also welcomed a lot of new faces!

The night started with everyone filling out their bingo sheets of other people’s names and ticket numbers (no, not phone numbers! ?) which started up a lot of talking and a great energy for the night thanks to everyone’s participation!

Then we had to test out our lucky (but sometimes not so lucky) winners to see if their luck was enough to win something good in the mystery prizes!

After the game, the party continued as everyone had some time to get to know each other even better. It was lovely to see everyone dressed up and smelling nice compared to normal training clothes, we got to see the faces behind the bogu more clearly and realise how beautiful everyone is!

And our reliable Tomo whipped out his famous magic tricks once again and did not disappoint!

Overall it was a wonderful night and we hope everyone had a lot of fun! On behalf of the executive team, we would like to offer a huge thanks to the senseis and seniors who helped us organise the day and run it smoothly, and especially thanks to those of you attended, supported the club and helped raise funds for our University Nationals team this year!
