We had matches between our Kyu women on 5th August, the last day of the second internal shiai. The matches started with four pools of candidates, followed by a tournament within the top two players of each pool.
It seemed that the girls had waited too long for this day since the first day of this internal shiai two weeks ago, as they fought on the courts actively trying to score. This day they fought for themselves, and also for future competitions to fight for the club. The performance in shiai was closely linked to basic and keiko, and that’s why daily training is crucial. Let’s keep training hard and prepare always for the next competition.
At the last of the whole series of matches, we definitely need to say thanks to our Sensei and volunteers for their dedicate working throughout the whole event to ensure each match to proceed successfully. Thanks for their great effort!
