Kendo’s competition in Unisport Nationals Div1 finished last Sunday in Gold Coast and our club’s competition team were playing amazingly one more time. Representing USYD, our competitors fought in all categories and claimed more than a half of all places. The results are:
澳洲大学生运动会的剑道项目上周日在黄金海岸落下了帷幕，我们社团的代表队又一次表现抢眼。我们代表悉尼大学出战所有类别的比赛，并且赢得了多半奖项。以下是我们的比赛结果：
Individual Kyu Grade Men: 1st place – Macca Hou, 2nd place – Victor Kuo, 3rd place – Jeffery Chung
Individual Kyu Grade Women: 2nd place – Elva Shi, 3rd place – Samantha Zhong
Individual Dan Grade Men: 2nd place – Takumi Ohashi
Individual Dan Grade Women: 1st place – Anna Lu, 2nd place – Alley Lee
Kyu team: 1st place
Open team: 1st place
Furthermore, we also claimed men’s and women’s champion, as well as overall champion!

Congratulations on their achievements! It’s by every club member’s support, coaches’ instruction, and our hard training that we could achieve this. Let’s keep the tune and prepare well for the coming competition of this year!
