As a long summer is finally leaving – it kept staying for quite a while even after people started to miss the cooler days – we are having a short autumn break before winter arrives. Falling right into the break period, April’s pub night was on last Friday at Broadway Crown, and I hope everyone really had a great time that night.
漫长的夏日终于要结束了——我没有嫌弃夏天的意思，只是这个夏天似乎漫长到让我们早早开始想念凉爽的日子——我们现在处在冬天到来之前的短暂的舒适秋日中。上周五的酒吧之夜就在一个凉爽舒适的日子里进行，我希望大家都过得很开心。

I reckon our members had a bunch of reasons indeed to go to a pub together, where even the saddest people could be livened up. Some are getting used to kendo basics. Some are about to start the next step of kendo training; some finished exams and assignments; some actually have no reasons but just want to stay with friends– they are more welcomed than hot summer. Infinite appreciation to those who would have their assignments done but still came anyway, thanks for your time. Hope you all gained more than sufficient luck for your tasks after the night!
我觉得社员们的的确确有充足的理由享受这样一个活动，大家聚在一起——不管是不是因为训练——到一个酒吧里，在愈发欢快的气氛中即便是最难受的人都可能会开心起来。我们有些社员渐渐掌握了剑道的基础动作，有的终于准备进入下一个阶段的训练，有的在之前考完了试，交完了作业，还有的想跟朋友呆在一起——他们可比酷暑更受欢迎。我想我们还要向那些还有考试和作业但仍然现身在酒吧的朋友们致以最崇高的敬意，感谢你们在百忙之中抽出时间过来。希望你们在那晚之后都收获了足够的好运来面对你们今后的任务！

By the way, please don’t forget our annual cocktail party on 19th May at Aurora Hotel, in just two weeks! The style, from dressing to contents, will be much different from a pub night, and you will like it – by now more than 140 tickets are sold already!
