Hi everyone! My name is Abbas and I am your Commercial Officer. Some of you guys might know me from USYD Rocketry, while tutoring ELEC2103 / 1103 or for those already in our club from the latest email titled “Ring has been found”! But yeah, you probably know me.
I am from one of the pandemic groups (I am sure I invented the term) who started last year and went through some special online training. As such, it is an honor for me to serve the club as one of the execs and I hope I can beat Aji’s jacket design (ooooof, it looks so cool).
Look, I don’t have any good equipment ideas right now (tell me if you have some) so why not get to know me a bit better:
1. I took my kendo equipment with me back to Pakistan during this semester break. My mother would use a stopwatch to time me when I would do kirikaishi party at the end of my training (ah, should have taken some pictures).
2. I started cooking in my 1st year of uni. For one whole year I survived on black pepper and salt since my teacher, my uncle, believed them to be the foundation of cooking.
3. I did B.Maths in Canada for 1 year before coming to Australia and switching to electrical engineering. Yep, math puzzled me.
