On Friday the 31st of January 2020, we here at USYD kendo club had our first monthly pub night. A proper way to start the new year, and the new decade, we enjoyed a few ice-cold beers together.
Apart from being an enjoyable night to end a tough training (my gosh it was so hot that Friday) the night was also a night to remember all the good times we had as we say goodbye to one of our members. Yusuki Yukihiro joined our club last year after moving to Sydney from Queensland as he was enjoying his working holiday in Australia. We had many incredible memories with him, both at training and other social events. We wish him all the best as he now moves back to Japan to finish his studies in becoming a world-class primary school teacher.
