KENDO UNIGAMES 2022!

Hello everyone,

Over the weekend, from Friday, the 23rd of September, till Sunday, the 25th of September, representatives from our club was away on their trip to Kendo Unigames 2022!

This year, our squad travelled to Perth, where it was held over the course of the weekend, with Individual matches on Saturday, and the Team competition on Sunday!

I am happy to announce that the USYD Kendo Squad performed absolutely amazing, coming back with fantastic results for themselves, and for the club!

USYD Kendo Club came first place overall, by coming first in multiple categories – Congratulations, everyone!

This would all not be possible if it were not for the teachings of our club sensei’s – to all our sensei’s, on behalf of the executive team and the club, thank you very much for your teachings!

1st place – Su Cho (USYD)
2nd place – Xiaoqi Lin (UTS)
3rd place – Ayesha Mayat (USYD)
Dan men’s individuals
1st place – James Oh (USYD)
2nd place – M. Choi (ANU)
3rd place – A. Ukeguchi (UTS)
Dan women’s individuals
1st place – Anna Lu (USYD)

Not only did they bring back amazing results, but they brought back a very empowering mood and a promising future for the next generation of USYD Kendo Club Unigame competitors to aspire to, providing a strong record as a goal to beat!
