The first day consisted of only individual matches but the tension surrounding the air was very intense. All competitors had their ‘game face’ on and were ready to fight it out on the court. After many long shiais, USYD members were mostly left standing at the top.
.
The second day is when the team matches occured. With back to back shiai from the first day, everyone was exhausted but did well to bring out their best performance! Thanks to everyones’ efforts, we were able to secure victory for both team divisions. Overall, USYD has secured the 1st place title for both the Men AND Women for Kendo!

Finally, we the Nationals members would like to thank everyone from our club once again, particularly Fujisawa Sensei, Konishi Sensei and Takayama Sensei. Although we have achieved some amazing results, this was done because of the help we received during all the training we had together!
